04

Buy at retailer

Prices and availability can change after you leave — always confirm the final details on the retailer’s website. Under Club never processes payments or holds inventory.

Why compare?

The same club, five different prices.

Same club, same condition, priced by every site that stocks it. One bar per marketplace — the red one is the only one worth clicking.

Ranked by percentage gap, not dollars, so a wedge can out-rank a set of irons. Bars start near the cheapest price rather than zero.

How condition ratings work

Every retailer grades used clubs differently. eBay says “Used”, 2nd Swing says “Average”, GlobalGolf says “Value Golf B”. We map all of it onto one honest scale and always show you the retailer’s original words so you can check our work.

Grades are estimates based on retailer-provided information and may not be identical across sites. On a club page, tap any condition to see the full mapping.

Like New

Barely used. No visible wear on the face or sole.

Excellent

Light play. Minor cosmetic marks only.

Very Good

Normal use. Some scratches, plays perfectly.

Good

Well played. Visible wear, fully functional.

Fair

Heavy wear. A bargain if you just want to play it.

Why buy pre-owned — and how we keep it honest

We rank on landed cost

A $150 club with $30 shipping loses to a $170 club shipped free. Every number includes shipping, because that’s what you actually pay.

We translate the grades

Five retailers, five grading systems, one honest scale — with their original words shown so you can always check our work.

Commission never moves the ranking

We earn a cut when you buy through our links. Some sites pay us more, one pays us nothing. The cheapest club still wins — always.

Affiliate disclosure

Under Club is free to use. We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site — some retailers pay us, one pays us nothing, and it never changes the ranking or the price you pay. The cheapest landed price always wins.

Frequently asked questions

Does Under Club sell the clubs?
No. We compare prices across five major used-golf retailers and send you to the retailer to buy. We never hold inventory, take payment, or ship anything — every purchase happens on the retailer’s own website.
How do you decide which offer is cheapest?
We rank on landed cost — the price plus shipping — because that’s what you actually pay. A $150 club with $30 shipping loses to a $170 club shipped free.
Are the prices guaranteed?
No. Used listings sell and prices move. We show when each price was last checked and always link you to the retailer to confirm the final price and availability before you buy.
How do condition grades compare between sites?
Every retailer grades differently, so we map each one onto a single scale (Like New → Fair) and show you their original wording so you can check the mapping. Grades are estimates based on retailer-provided information.
How does Under Club make money?
We earn an affiliate commission when you buy through some of our links. It never changes the price you pay, and it never affects the ranking — some retailers pay us more than others, and one pays us nothing.
Why buy used golf clubs at all?
A club someone else broke in a year ago plays the same and often costs 40–60% less than new. The used market is deep for recent models, which is exactly where the biggest savings are.
